Eddie was born and raised in Morgan City, La. part of a large outstanding family there with several ties to the industry growing up. Eddie has been a part of the Oilfield industry since 1991 beginning on the wash rack and then through the field. He has pioneered and conducted business internationally for a few different service companies. Eddie began Axis Oilfield Rentals with Dustin Labat (Bigfoot) in 2011 and they are continuing to grow the business. Eddie and his wife Karin reside in Madisonville, La. And they have two daughters. His Goal is to be a good father and husband while growing Axis to be a leader in the equipment rental and service business.
Dustin LaBat is the Vice President of Sales for Axis Oilfield Rentals, LLC. remotely operating from Houston, Texas concentrating on the sales and customer relations successes of the three operating divisions of the Eagle Ford, Permian Basin and the Gulf of Mexico Regions.
He has over seventeen years of sales experience, thirteen of which have been in the oil and gas industry, including past VP of Operations roles, and various sales Executive positions. His expertise includes the forming of lasting relationships with high level executives to field personnel. He has helped develop service and maintenance plans for all equipment in the AOR Fleet and has assisted Field Technicians with repair, maintenance, delivery and installation of surface rental equipment directly with 3rd party safety group in developing a safety plan.
In addition, he has completed a variety of courses over the years within the industries standards, those include: Safeland/PEC, Behavioral Based Safety (BBS), H2S, TWIC and is effective in driving quality within a fast-paced operating environment with customer service as priority number one.
His sales leadership has proven to be an asset that has followed him over these years, while working on high profile oil and gas projects in the three assigned areas of field activity. He has served on Executive Leadership Boards, and is a vital part of the contract and MSA preparation and negotiation within the AOR organization. His organizational memberships include: Association of Energy Service Companies, American Association of Drilling Engineers, and in the past VISTAGE . He volunteers as a sponsor/participant for a variety of local Sporting Clay Chapters, along with assisting the local Houston community. His dedication to his career and passion of driving immediate response and a quality product and service with excellence in results has been a staple to his character.
Nicholls State University –Business Management
Mr. Lapeyrouse is a graduate of Northwestern State University. He started his oilfield career as an intern at Axis Oilfield Rentals. Since he was hired in 2012 as the Business Manager, Lyle has overseen accounts payable/receivable and personnel responsibilities. His enthusiasm for serving the Axis customer base is contagious.
Brent Sharp is the Director of Operations for Axis Oilfield Rentals, LLC. His focus is on the increasing profits through excellence in productivity and accountability. He has worked in the oil and gas industry for approximately 15 years in various roles of operations and engineering.
Brent is a graduate from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and lives in Odessa Texas with his family. He is a football & weight room enthusiast.
Julie was hired by Axis in August of 2016 to be the Administrative Office Manager. She has over 22 years of experience in the financial analyst, payroll and budgeting profession and 12 years specifically related to the oil and gas and marine industry She has worked for large corporations like Coca-Cola Enterprises, and Osborn Laboratories, as well as with smaller specialized industry service sectors.
She has also continued her education while doing full-time work in all past positions and continues to do so today. Past continuing education includes, Dale Carnegie and received 3 awards for excellence in thirteen weeks of the attendance. Also is well versed in the Microsoft Suite, which includes Excel, Word, Kronos, Impromptu and other programming systems.
The experience and dedication she has is extremely valuable and her work ethic and dedication to excellence is second to none. With creative ideas, suggestions and office management process implementation, she has gained respect of many of her colleagues and continues to prove her value everyday.
